Disconnect the sway bar link to allow the suspension to move freely. 2.Removal ProcedureRemove Ball Joint: Remove the bolt securing the ball joint to the steering knuckle. Use a pry bar to separate the ball joint from the knuckle.Disconnect Control Arm: Unbolt the two inner bolts connecting the control arm to the subframe.Remove Arm: Remove the old control arm3.Installation ProcedurePosition New Arm: Install the new control arm into the subframe mounting points.Tighten Inner Bolts: Hand-tighten the inner bolts first.Attach Ball Joint: Insert the ball joint into the steering knuckle. It may be difficult to seat, requiring a pry bar.Secure Fasteners: Tighten the ball joint bolt and inner bolts.
